Physics
Physics is essential to understanding the world around us, the world within us, and the universe beyond us.
As the most fundamental science, it provides the foundation for how we explain everything—from motion and energy to the structure of matter and the behavior of the cosmos. At Midland College, physics courses are designed to support a variety of academic pathways. Whether you are planning to transfer into an engineering program, pursue a biology or other science pathway, or complete your core curriculum, we offer courses that align with your goals. Options include algebra and trigonometry-based and calculus-based physics, physical science, and astronomy courses exploring galaxies, stars, and the universe.
