Chaps Helping Chaps

The Chaps Helping Chaps - Student Emergency Fund program is funded by the Midland College family; faculty, staff, alumni, retirees, and community members. The program helps MC students enrolled in credit courses stay in school by assisting them with emergency needs.

Short term assistance varies by the situation, but some examples include:

  • Emergency Food (and assistance with local food banks)
  • EZ Rider Bus Pass
  • Utility Bills
  • Gasoline
  • Emergency car repairs
  • Community Referrals: Housing, Daycare, Legal, and more
  • Medical (Assistance and Referrals)
