Computer Information Technology
Are you interested in network security and administration? If so, Midland College helps you kick start a career in information technology.
The Associate of Applied Science for Information Technology in Network Security and Administration (AAS) is designed to prepare students for many careers including computer systems support technicians, network support technicians, network systems administrators, and information security analysts.
Graduates of the program will possess competencies in basic IT literacy principles, network communication, network systems management, infrastructure design and implementation, and information security concepts. The curriculum is designed to teach the exam domains to the CompTIA A+, Network +, Security+, Linux+, Cisco CCNA, and Microsoft Server exams.
Along with the AAS in Network Systems, Midland College offers certificates in Computer Systems Support Technician, Network Support Technician, and Cisco (CCNA) Networking. Students can expect to complete the AAS in two years and certificates in two to three semesters.

Students choosing this academic pathway may receive funding and other financial assistance and support from Workforce Solutions.
