ASU Distinguished Transfer Scholarships

This scholarship is for students transferring from Midland College to Angelo State University. There is no application, award is based on transferrable course GPA and the number of transferrable credit hours. Angelo State University will make all final decisions on scholarship amount, award processes, and renewal.

SUL ROSS STATE UNIVERSITY NEW STUDENT TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP

$2,000 total ($1,000 each semester) awarded to new transfer students enrolled in at least 6 advanced (3000/4000-level) hours each semester.

TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY AGGIE TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Awards range from $500–$3,000 per year for outstanding transfer students based on academics, leadership, and need.

Up to $6,250 for four consecutive semesters reduced by the amount of Pell Grant, Scholarships, or other academic scholarships) to graduating A.D.N. nursing students transferring into UTPB's B.S.N. program.

These scholarships are limited to students graduating from Crane, Fort Stockton, and Buena Vista Independent School Districts as well as Midland College. The recipient must be planning to pursue a bachelor's degree at a public college or university in Texas.

External Scholarships From Outside Agencies

There is no need to report anticipated external scholarships. Awards are applied within 5-7 business days of being received.

Scholarship checks should be payable to Midland College. Checks should not be made payable to a student.

Agencies and donors should include the following information when sending funds to Midland College to ensure scholarship checks are processed promptly:

    1. Recipients full name
    2. MC Student ID number
    3. Guidance regarding which semester(s) the award should be applied to (fall, spring, summer)
    4. Third party contact information (organization name, mailing address and phone number/email address)
    5. How the funds can be utilized (tuition/fees, books, room & board, supplies, equipment)
