Midland College and UTPB have established an articulation agreement that will ensure a seamless transition process for engineering students moving from Midland College to UTPB.
Transfer Agreement
By working together, the institutions will be better able to help students navigate the path to baccalaureate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering. This collaboration works toward the goals of fulfilling student dreams and providing for the workforce needs of the Permian Basin.
Transfer Scholarships
UTPB Transfer Elite Scholarship
- $2,500 per year
- Must meet regular admission requirements as a transfer student
- Minimum of 24 hours of transferrable college work with a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA
- No application required
- Awarded September 1 - August 15

UTPB Transfer Excellence Scholarship
- $1,500 per year
- Must meet regular admission requirements as a transfer student
- Minimum of 24 hours of transferrable college work with a 3.0 to 3.49 cumulative GPA
- No scholarship application required
- Awarded September 1 - August 15
