Pathways Advising Mission

Midland College Pathways Advising Team provides intentional and holistic academic advising to help guide students in making academic, transfer, and career pathway decisions.

Advisor Role

Pathway Advisors at Midland College are assigned to students from the point of application and stay with them unless they change pathways. Using a holistic coaching approach, advisors support students academically, personally, and professionally.

Advisors help students:

  • Stay on the right pathway aligned with career goals
  • Create an educational plan
  • Develop decision-making skills
  • Navigate the MC Portal, email, Canvas, and other resources
