Midland College is excited to announce the launch of its new class of First-Generation Ambassadors. This initiative aims to enhance student involvement through community service, provide workshops that promote both academic and personal success, and build a robust network of support for first-generation college students.

Midland College is hosting a special lecture today at 6 p.m. in the Cogdell Learning Center, featuring Dr. José Angel Hernández, a distinguished scholar and award-winning author. As part of the college's celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Dr. Hernández will explore the late nineteenth-century movement that relocated Tejano families back to Mexico, highlighting how this process of autocolonization differs from traditional settler colonization.

Midland College is proud to announce its membership in the Community College Baccalaureate Association (CCBA), a national organization dedicated to advancing workforce-focused baccalaureate degree opportunities at community colleges across the country.
