Library staff cannot take reservations or kick anyone out of a study room because they’ve been there too long, are noisy, don’t deserve it, etc. If both study rooms are in use, you may use room 105 by the circulation desk if it’s not in use for an event. If you use room 105, you must leave the door open so staff can easily access the equipment. There are no other rooms available to students.

Research Help & Finding Books
There are multiple ways to find books in the library. If you know the book you want, search for it in Speedy Search. Next, select the book title you are searching for. Look for the Shelf Number attached to your book. Once you have the shelf number, you can locate the books in our stacks. If you need help, someone at the circulation desk is always available.
Type your search term into our SpeedySearch bar and click “Search.” Choose the “Databases & OA” tab. On the left side of the screen, under “Limit Search Results,” click “Peer reviewed.” Then, select “yes” and hit include. Next, click on “Format.” Select “Journal Article” and hit include. Now you are searching for peer-reviewed journal articles on your topic.
You can get database results from our SpeedySearch bar if you’re not quite sure what you’re looking for, but if you have a pretty good idea where to find something, you might consider looking in our “A to Z Databases.”
